A Message for the Team
As part of the Jeju International Schools Athletics Conference (JISAC) we promote opportunity to play and compete in regional competitions at the appropriate age of development and ability of teams. However, like in any other game, children should be playing sport before practicing sport in a fun, structured environment.
We believe - rules, expert coaching, and appropriate conditioning are important for our students and can develop life long learners within the community. The ideal start to develop a world class athlete is to expose them to situations and practice, recreational play can not offer. A desire to succeed comes from experience, evolving environments and relationships that embrace national and international sporting arena - Therefore...Change is inevitable!
JISAC has designed seven local leagues for all students in Grades 2 – 12. It is a structure sporting framework for present and all future schools within the Jeju Global Education City. It encourages young athletes to experience the playing of sport against local and national schools throughout Jeju Island and Korea. It is essential that we prepare our young sports stars. These leagues will be the spring board for the future.
The JISAC Leagues include:
Weekly Competitions:
Badminton
Basketball
Volleyball
Soccer
Monthly Competitions:
Swimming
Golf
Tennis
JISAC consider learning the game through a balance of practice and competition is vital for development. This is our message, aim and purpose.
We hope parents, coaches, players and spectators enjoy the sport and encourage the game to be the teacher.
Love every game as if it's your last!
See you on the grass
